Tegese yaiku ngendel-endelake kekuwatan, panguwasa, lan kapinteran sing diduweni. Adigang yaiku sipat kang ngegul-gulake kekuwataning awak (raga), kayadene kidang. tandang tanduke cukat trengginas, playune pilih tandhing. Dene adigung iku sipat kang ngongsakake pangkat, drajat, keluhuran, apadene trah tedhak turune priyagung (wong gedhe). Pawongan kang nduweni watak adigung umume dipadhakake karo gajah. Awake gedhe, ora ana sing madhani, lan yen padudon akeh menange. Dene adiguna yaiku sipat kang ngendelake kapinteran lan akal. Sipat iki umume digambarake kaya watake ula. Ula iku katone ringkih, nanging wisane mbebayani.
